Security Clearance: Top Secret or TS/SCI (no exceptions)

Most Important is: TS clearance, Prior TS/SCI would be best, Pentagon experience, and advanced skills with MS Exchange 2003, Windows Active Directory, Network Appliance, Netbackup, and SYMANTEC clustering.

Required Skills

A senior level systems administrator with 3 to 5 years experience in Storage Area Networks using Symantec server clustering software and Network Appliance hardware. A minimum of 3 years experience with Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2003.

Desirable Skills:

VMWare, SMS, DHCP, Blackberry Server Administration, DELL Blades, disaster recovery and backup systems. SAN experience preferably utilizing Fibre Channel and ISCI protocols.

Systems Administration includes the installation, operation, and maintenance of the above server software and hardware. This includes but is not limited to configuring, building, STIGing, upgrading, patching, optimizing and troubleshooting the above servers on a Windows Platform.

Responsibilities:

Provide Systems Administration/configuration for MS Windows, AD 2003, Exchange 2003, etc as stated above. Test, develop, and apply security patches. Install and configure server hardware. Troubleshoot server issues. Maintain operations on appliance servers such as ISSE GUARD, Intrushield, Trusted Computer Solutions, Assist helpdesk on tier III basis.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years hands on experience performing system configuration/administrative functions. Degree preferred or 6 years w/o degree
• Experienced with MS Windows Server platforms, Active Directory 2003, Exchange 5.5 & 2003, DHCP, Storage Area Networks, utilizing, Network Appliance, Brocade FC switching and Decru HW/SW.
• Experienced with configuration/administration of Blackberry server, MOM, and SQL server. Experienced with McAfee software, and skilled with the ability to test, develop, and apply security patches.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the installation and configuration of server hardware to include raid optimization, High Availability configurations, virtual server deployment with VMWare.
• Experienced in troubleshooting server issues and assisting helpdesk technicians to resolve trouble tickets. SAN clustering experience a plus
• MCSE 2003 preferred. SNIA or storage related certifications.

Hardware Experience:

• Servers, PCs, printers, Fiber channel and Ethernet network interface cards, blade configuration, memory and similar network HW.

Software Experience:

• MS Windows OS, AD 2003, Internet Exp., DHCP, Storage Area Networks using Symantec, Network appliance, and Decru SW. MOM & SQL server, McAfee SW.
