Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for providing network design, engineering support, and operations/maintenance for the U.S. Israeli Cooperative Program Office. Responsibilities include design, configuration, installation, and implementation of LAN/WAN topologies, VLANs, routers/switches (primarily CISCO), TACLANE Encryption Devices and Windows Servers.  

Tasks

• Prepares test, QA, and implementation plans for introduction of the infrastructure components into a production environment . Provides supporting documentation for DITSCAP/DIACAP certification and accreditation. 
• Provide services to customers include design/configuration/implementation of LAN/WAN topologies, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), routers (Cisco), Network Address Translation (NAT and PAT), intrusion detection (ISS and Cisco), virtual private network (VPN), Cisco AVVID (IP Telephony) and security audits (network architecture reviews, penetration tests, port scans, testing for know vulnerabilities, etc). 
• Candidate should have experience with the design and implementation of IT infrastructure including Microsoft operating systems, EMC Documentum Servers, PC/workstations, network switches/hubs, routers and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco routers/switches/concentrators. 

Skills

• Exceptional customer service, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. 
• Familiarity with DoD processes, procedures, and protocol.

Education

BS in Computer Science or equivalent or 6-8 years of hands-on experience. Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) and Certified Cisco Design Associate (CCDA) required.  Minimum of five years experience in operation and design of network systems. 

Travel

This position will require frequent travel to Israel for on-site customer support.
