Network Operations Manager

Job Summary :

Project management – This task will develop comprehensive project plans for assigned projects and serve as a coordinator between system administrators, network engineers, customer support specialists and information security analysts to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects within the approved guidelines.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive project plans for assigned projects and serve as the lead/ coordinator between P&E, NetOps, and IA  to ensure the successful completion of projects within defined guidelines. Complete Special Projects as determined and assigned by the Chief/Deputy Chief Critical Infrastructure.
2. Conduct periodic integrated product team (IPT) meeting with crossfunctional teams.
3. Proactively manage timeline, milestones, actions and deliverables.
4. Develop and complete all required documentation for projects assigned, to include but not limited to interface control drawings (ICDs), physical diagrams, logical diagrams, as built diagrams, server baseline build data, software, and hardware configuration files.

Level Of Education:

• Technical Degree

Certifications:

• MCSE 2003

• prefer PMP

Software Experience:

• Senior level PM/ systems administrator with 6 to 9  years experience administering MicroSoft Exchange 2003 and Windows Active Directory.
• VMWare
• SMS
• DHCP Servers
• Blackberry Server Administration
• DELL Blades
• Disaster recovery
• Backup systems and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
• SAN experience preferably with Symantec and NetApp utilizing FC and ISCSI protocols.
