Advanced Systems Development (ASD), Inc. Achieves CMMI Systems Engineering/Software Engineering Level II Rating

ASD successfully demonstrated that its framework for delivering information technology engineering and operations support and software development services meet the requirements of a CMMI Level II company.  Industry, Government and DoD customers use the independent SEI CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A) to assess a company’s capability to reduce performance risks, to increase efficiency and to improve the quality of products and services.

ASD engaged Perot Systems Government Services for customized training and development of system requirements and timeline schedules to meet the CMMI Level II objectives. ASD’s President and CEO, Richard Bennett believes: “This accomplishment further demonstrates ASD’s continuous commitment to improving our customers the quality of our people, products, and quality services.” He went on to say: “ASD has established a goal of achieving the CMMI Level III rating by the end of calendar year 2005 and this will be a key success factor in our future growth goal of becoming a $50 million company.
